Receptionist
SUMMARY
The Receptionist assists callers and visitors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Answer phones for Myers Industries, Myers Tire Supply, and Myers International. Receive rollovers from Akro-Mils and Akro-Mils Wadsworth.
Greet visitors. Page appropriate party if necessary
Stuff checks in envelopes for Accounts Payable
Maintain lists:phone list, employee list, site managers list, etc
Maintain Safety procedures documents and manuals
Be aware of emergence responsibilities and procedures
Maybe set up and maintain key fobs and name plates
Keep lobby clean and plants alive
Pays some of the HR department invoices

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED; at least intermediate office skills including Microsoft products; experience with multi-line phones and public contact is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must possess ability to read, analyze, interpret and organize general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in a professional manner.Must have ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume.Must possess ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
REASONING ABILITY
Must possess ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
