Business Development Lead Generation Specialist
As a Business Development Lead Generation Specialist with Buckhorn Inc you will be responsible for generating leads and new business development opportunities through utilizing a targeted approach of proactive, high volume outbound customer calls. After engaging a customer, the Sales Development Associate will develop and qualify sales opportunities and establish Buckhorn as a leader in plastic container solutions for customers. This is a high energy position that requires a strong work ethic, the ability to make a high volume of outbound cold calls, and the ability to develop lead generation campaigns. As a Sales Development Associate, you will collaborate with business unit leadership and field sales to support sales growth, marketing campaigns and internal efforts.
Performs outbound sales activities such as cold calling, lead follow-up, and opportunity qualifications.
Meets or exceeds activity metrics for outbound calls, appointments set, generated opportunities and prospecting time.
Develops and executes advanced direct-mail, e-mail blasts and other campaigns to create lead generation.
Procures lists of potential customers and utilizes the CRM program to document, track and manage the sales pipeline.
Researches, collaborates and works with external resources to generate leads, gains referrals and opportunities to market Buckhorn for pipeline development and sales growth.
Creates monthly strategic outreach plans to support new business acquisition goals
Conducts deep research on target accounts to identify key players and create customized messaging for prospecting purposes.
Creates marketing and demand generation campaigns to educate and nurture prospective customers, thereby creating need in the market.
Proactively makes recommendations to business unit leadership and the sales teams and execute campaigns and provide feedback to maximize the impact of the campaigns.
Maintains and update records within SalesLogix to reflect relevant research and activities
Identify and utilize all available resources to identify possible new sales opportunities such as (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, ZoomInfo, etc.) to strategically identify organizations and individuals to contact
Participates in regular training and coaching sessions to hone demand generation skills and objection handling.
Learns the portfolio of Buckhorn Inc and articulate the value to key decision makers across a prospect organization
- An undergraduate degree is preferred, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing
Previous high-volume cold calling experience in a Business to Business environment is required
