SUMMARY:  The field based sales representative position is responsible for growing revenue and gross profit at accounts in an assigned geographic territory with a main focus commercial markets. The sales representative is responsible for greater than $1M in annual revenue.

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:  Include, but are not limited to:

·         Acquire new customers to maximize growth by generating leads

·         Focus on strategic selling with mid and large size accounts, and sell Ameri-Kart’s programs, systems, and solutions

·         Lead all sales and account/planning, forecasting, reporting efforts for assigned accounts within territory

·         Meet and exceed all sales goals

·         Negotiate all sales contracts with prospective clients

·         Understand, assess, and anticipate customers’ objectives, strategies, and requirements to identify and pursue sales opportunities

·         Complete pre-call planning activities that allow for effective and efficient sales calls

·         Manage small accounts efficiently by engaging customer service or directing customer accordingly

·         Responsible for escalated customer service issue follow-up, but not the primary contact point for issue resolution

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

·      Successful sales history with 2+ years outside sales experience

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science Degree preferred

Strong business acumen including the following:

o  Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources

o  Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices

o  Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services

o  Proven ability to analyze current business issues, end-user needs, and formulate market segmentation strategies while directing both qualitative and quantitative research   

Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects

Computer literacy, Microsoft Office products required
