What we need…

COCC is looking for a highly motivated Customer Support Coordinator to join our Financial Management team! This position is responsible for working with clients to understand their needs while providing solutions that map client requirements to system functionality and process improvements. This is a great opportunity to provide first line Client support on COCC’s core system general ledger interface and Oracle Financials (OFA) applications.

What you’ll do…

  • Work with Clients to understand their general ledger interface requirements and implements required changes
  • Perform and support various account reconciliations
  • Suggest and educate clients on business process improvements that may increase the client’s efficiency through the use of COCC’s technology solutions
  • Understand basic database communications and supports related connectivity and/or performance issues
  • Assist Customer Support Specialists in managing clients through implementation projects; Complete selected implementation tasks as assigned
  • Review legacy system functionality to better understand our customer needs and to perform routine data extractions for conversions
  • Perform research, analysis and troubleshooting activities
  • Create business/system requirements as needed
  • Document internal procedures and methodologies used to implement financial systems

 

What you'll bring...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related required
  • 0-2 years of financial or systems experience
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain composure when dealing with customer issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt and remain flexible in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Aptitude for learning new technology and complex applications
  • Proficient in Excel; Basic SQL query writing capability a plus
  • Ability to complete routine financial formulas (e.g., the ability to recalculate averages, amortizations and accruals)
  • Detail oriented and highly organized with strong documentation skills
  • Ability to travel on occasion to client sites for conversions and training
