What we need…

A Systems Administrator to join our Windows Technology Services Group! The ideal candidate will be responsible for day to day Windows Server Administration, addressing support requests submitted by employees, handling escalations from the desktop Support Team and assisting System Architects on projects.

What you’ll do…

  • Install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain Microsoft Windows Operating System
  • Troubleshoot complex system-level problems with physical and virtual servers
  • Work in a high paced environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • On-Call rotation required to cover 24x7 production issues
  • Implement and maintain security controls as requested by Security
  • Respond to tickets and emails submitted by employees
  • Preform daily/weekly/monthly health check of the Windows Server Team
  • Deploy, Decommission and Upgrade Windows Servers as needed
  • Participate in yearly Disaster Recover testing
  • Document system and application setups/deployments

What you’ll bring…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field/experience
  • Three to five years on hands-on Corporate IT/Network Support experience with solid technical troubleshooting abilities
  • Proficient knowledge of user access control, patching and networking stacks
  • Demonstrated experience supporting a 24/7 Enterprise environment
  • Certifications (MCSE/MCSA) are a strong plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (ex. Server 2012/R2, 2016, Windows 10, etc.)
  • Extensive experience working with ADDS, GPOs, DHCP, DFS-R, DNS, and a multi-Domain Forest environment required
  • Experience packaging software for distribution to corporate PCs/Servers required
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerShell scripting a strong plus
  • Experience managing…
    • Exchange Server 2013/2016 environment using DAGs a strong plus
    • UCS blade environment a strong plus
    • User profiles (ex. Appsense) strong plus
    • SolarWinds Orion a strong plus
  • Experience working in a Virtualized environment using VMware vSphere a strong plus
  • Experience with automation products such as lvanti LanDesk Manager strong plus
